September is the Season of Gold. Across Chicagoland, see spectacular scenes of skybound sunflowers and glorious goldenrod.

Many preserves remain gold with sunflowers and goldenrod while others have turned purple with the blooms of rough blazing star. Get out there before the blooming season ends.
